“No meritorious student should be deprived of education just because he / she is financially poor and cannot afford it”. With this in mind, Shree Vijayalakshmi Charitable Trust was established in the year 1990 in the city of Coimbatore which is located in the Southern part of Tamil Nadu. The Trust was established by Shri O. Armugasamy the Chairman of M/s. Senthil Group of Companies, Coimbatore in fond memory ofhis wife late Tmt. Vijayalakshmi.
Shree Vijayalakshmi Charitable Trust, since its inception has been rendering yeoman service in the field of Education, Health Care and Social Upliftment of the poor.

Further as a model Institution in TamilNadu, the Trust runs a school in Sirumugai, near Coimbatore which renders completely free quality education to meritorious students from class I to Class XII.
Mission:
The Trust has set for itself a noble mission to educate children be it in Medicine, Engineering, Arts & Science, at Undergraduate, Post Graduate and Doctorial level selected on the basis of merit and to establish in the near future a full-fledged University to provide absolutely free education in all facilities of learning.
